Our 2017 TPI Board of Directors came together for our annual Board Retreat on February 2nd through the 4th which was hosted by our Church Partner Broadmoor Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. During our time together, Gustavo Valladares and Juan Omar Lopez shared significant updates from the field about the work that TPI did last year to train pastors in their countries. It is always refreshing to hear from our National Directors and Staff how God is working through their efforts to accomplish the mission of training pastors.

Greg informed the Board that TPI began 2017 with 67 groups totaling 1,200 pastors receiving biblical training. It was humbling to hear how hungry these men are to be taught how they can effectively lead their churches to fulfill Christ’s teaching. Upon hearing this exciting news from Gustavo, Juan and Greg, our Board spent time praying to ask God’s continued blessing on the ministry efforts of TPI as we desire to do our part to share the story of what He is doing through this incredible ministry.

The Board spent time evaluating successes from the previous year, as well as planning new strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness in our communication efforts to relay the progress happening back to our supporters. With 2017 being a milestone for TPI, we desire to identify new ways to celebrate God’s work in our midst. We are committed to following God’s guidance as we steward His ministry of training national pastors to accomplish The Great Commission.
